Dial-One House of Doors has been in business since 1968. We are members of the Better Business Bureau, the Home Buliders Associations of Greater New Orleans and St. Tammany. We also belong
to IDA (International Door Association). Our mechanics and sales people have over 100 years of combined experience. We are also an IDEA (Institute of Door Dealer Education and Accreditation) accredited door dealer.
We pride ourselves on giving excellent customer service as well as a good product at a reasonable cost.
The company was started
in 1968 by Carlos Ramos and was known at that time as Ramos House of Doors. The current owner, Howard J. Bautsch, has run the company for the last 20 years. Dial-One House of Doors has grown from a very small
company that installed mainly residential garage doors to one of the largest door companies in the Greater New Orleans area. We install not only residential garage doors and electric openers for garage
doors but we do large commercial, industrial, and institutional roll-up door jobs as well. About ten years ago, we started selling commercial steel doors, frames, and
hardware which has become a large portion of our business.
For the last five years we have occupied a 20,000 square foot office/warehouse
where we opened our new showroom, which we believe to be one of the finest
in the South.
